Irish firm, TaxAssist Accountants, is moving into two new locations this month bringing its reach to 22 outlets across the country.

In business since 2009, the group employs over 125 people. The new offices, located in Newbridge Co. Kildare and Drumcondra, Dublin as well as expansion of several other branches will see 20 new jobs come on stream this year. The roles will be for Accountants and Accounting technicians of all levels.

The network of ‘walk-in’ accountancy and tax advice shops operates in a different end of the market to the industries big 4 names; specifically catering for owner managed SME’s.

Offering clients access to top of the range automation tools has been key to winning business over the last years. Speaking about the expansion of the business, Managing Director, Alison McGinley said ‘Clients don’t want to be burdened down anymore with paper. They do everything from their phone in their personal lives and we are finding they are keen to do the same in their business lives. Giving them really easy to use tools to interact with us in real time has been a big part of our strategy over the last few years and it has helped us win a lot of clients who are tired of the old, slow way of doing things. It is an exciting time for us as we continue to roll our digital plans out’

Commenting on the expansion of the brand’s retail footprint, McGinley said ‘We are delighted to be expanding our reach with the two new locations. We know there is a lot of demand in these areas for good, proactive business advice and we are keen to start meeting with the local business community’.
