The event provided a valuable opportunity for the network to meet in person, connect with colleagues and hear the latest developments across the business. Attendees benefited from a packed agenda that included network updates, marketing strategy, pricing developments, best practice sharing and insights from Xero.

A key theme throughout the conference was the increasing role of technology and AI in the profession. The network was updated on new AI policies and a comprehensive training programme, including monthly webinars, on-demand courses and CPD-accredited learning, ensuring franchisees are well equipped to adapt to evolving client needs.

There was also a strong focus on continued investment in IT and innovation, including expansion of the development team and the establishment of a technology innovation forum.

Marketing Manager Niamh Gavin presented the marketing strategy for 2026, outlining plans to increase brand awareness, generate high-quality leads and position TaxAssist Accountants strongly within AI-driven search platforms.

Head of Tax and Technical Services, Tadhg Moriarty, also addressed attendees, providing valuable insight into pricing and fee reviews.

The conference included best practice sharing sessions and partner updates, including contributions from Xero, demonstrating how technology and standardised workflows can improve efficiency and help practices scale.

Speaking about the event, Managing Director Alison McGinley said: “Our Summer Conference is always a highlight in the calendar. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our network to come together, share ideas and support each other. As the profession continues to evolve at pace, particularly with the rise of AI and new technologies, these events ensure our franchisees remain informed, confident and well positioned for the future. The strength of the TaxAssist network lies in collaboration, and days like this really demonstrate the value of being part of a supportive community.”
